Also that price was replacing the compressor housings with CNC machined compressor housings, and updated compressor housing adapters. Also you will get the newest design center housing rotating assemblies. The turbine wheels are updated to the new GT design. An a 1 year warranty comes with it.

Maybe that will clear things up a little on the price. I will make sure you get the carbon seal assembies so you can just throw them on and go!

I would also have to agree with Rich. Comment like this doesn't help..

I know that alot of twin sets are still around and perform well although i made the mistake of buying overpriced used and abused twins.

Regarding going with someone else to "rebuild" your turbos vs someone else.. I have to say, I would definitely go with Bryan from BNR vs. someone else. Bryan has probably built more twins than anyone in this country hands down. I would spend more money to get him to do it vs someone who might of built few in his life time. Experience counts and worth the money.

Thanks Phil I appreciate that.

EJ, You may be able to remidee the problem by putting a catch can on that is vented to the primary turbo inlet (constant vacume), in addition using restrictions in the banjo fittings.

That set of turbos was one of my very first new versions. I don't even have them listed in my records and they go back to 10/2004. Thats when I started logging every turbocharger I sold.

I have made many new improvements to the newer stage 3's that took quality to a whole new level. But if we can fix your issue without doing overhauls then thats the way we need to go.

I have 12k mileage on my stage 3's and they still pull hard... running stock boost for now though.

So Bryan, do you use something like this:

I don't think that will solve your issue, because I have the BNR st 3's myself and I have open the openning on each oil passage and water passage pipe banjo bolt and never had any oil issues on my trubos they do pull hard and cool down like crazy time will tell when they crank out. I am also only bosstin 14 lbs, so I am not really pushing them to they extreme. Are they leaking upon boost or whenever the car start up u see smoke comes out from behind the turbos?
