Ok here's the situation.
1) changed oil, new filter, started car and let idle for a minute without new oil in. :-(
2) when I did fill it I overfilled it to compensate for the oil coolers. Duh, they don't drain so they were still full.
Went to drag strip, ran car. After run on deceleration, I had crazy amore billowing from the car, even blew off the vacuum cap on the oil filler neck and dumped oil everywhere. Drove it home, drained oil filled to correct spec.
Driving car a few days later, boosting hard in second and letting off resulted in large clouds of smoke again. Hmmm. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't.
So, did i destroy my bearings, oil control rings, side seals, turbo, etc?

When I ran my motor without oil for 10 minutes on the highway. The oil control rings needed to be replaced, the oil seals had melted, and the irons were heat scored. You only ran yours for a minute and it was at idle so I wouldn't expect that kind of damage. My GUESS would be the oil control ring seals or your turbo oil seals. Make sure there isn't oil leaking somewhere on the exhaust as that will cause smoke clouds as well, look under the car see if theres oil anywhere or if the exhaust is stained. The excessive crankcase pressure may have caused something to blow and leak somewhere.
