what could be causing this ?

this loud ticking sound at the water pump pulley

what i did was , remove stock water pump pulley alternator pulley ,Belt
and replace it with a Greddy pulley kit,
after every thing hooked up right, start the car and the ticking begins

the ticking follows the revs, if you guys know what i mean
ticking goes faster along with the rpm

im pretty sure the ticking is from the water pump pulley
so i try puting washers on the 4 bolts, retighten them, etcetc but nothing helps.
the car runs fine boost good idles great
just the noise , people next to me at a stop light are looking at me like WTF?

heres a short vid of the sound

That sound is "tinny" and "metallic" sounding. Is there any possibility of metal-to-metal contact between the new pulleys and anything else? I would disassemble them and look for shiny marks from something rubbing.

Also check to make sure that the tooth on the trigger wheel isn't hitting something.

DaveW, i will tear it down today to check it out , befor the outer wheel was hiting the upper water hose clamp,so i change that to a bolt clamp and now thats not hiting anymore , but still making the tick noise. thanks

The trigger wheel is behind the front main (eccentric shaft) pulley. It triggers the ignition pulses. It it a stamped steel unit with ribs and a couple if short "fingers" sticking out. Your noise could correspond to that hitting something.

I recently assembled my water pump, and it was the blade tapping against the inside of the chamber. I spun the pulley by hand to make sure it was clear. If the pulley is pushed too far in, I imagine it might sound like that with the car on.
