Looks like air intake temp sensor which is on the underside of the upper intake manifold, but its hard to see where the wire is going. It should be on the same lead as the tps and iac.

yes i also think it is the air temp sensor. i always hate having to reach under the UIM to disconnect it every time i take the UIM off...grrrr

Ok. W/ a sensor disconnected, I'm supprised that I'm not getting a check engine light or something like that. I'll look under the UIM for the air sensor,
