what is the compression supposed to be for the fd engine

on the first rotor mazda sain that it ws 7.1 and sencond was 7.9 somthing like that, i was haveing problems with the car cracking over would that casue my car not to start

the difference is a little high but within spec, and the 7.1 is low but within spec. the 94 service manual says minimum is 7, max difference should be 1.5...

but what do you mena 1st rotor? there should be three numbers for each housing.
