hey i'm in the process of buying the defi link set bf series what color is the tack and such on the 3rd gen when lit up at night..i know it's white durring the day..but at night does it change to a red or sumthin? any pics..i need to know so i know which one of the defi gauges to get..either the red or white ones..plz help

im sorry but do you own an FD or even an FC? they light up amber, which is orangish. same color orange as a lot of car's instrument panels light up. The red Defi would be the closest. you might try a search on the interior/exterior/audio section.

i owned a 10ae but got broken in to and vandalized..so the insurance is just gonna write it off. so i'm gonna buy a 3rd gen..i had alomost 10g 12g in my 10ae

If you want it to look stock, get orange bulb covers for your gauge bulbs.

ummm...no you don't own an FD...otherwise wouldn't you know what color they were? I suggest buying a car and getting it running before you buy gauges for it.

 

i don't think u can cuz they are fully digital..so i don't think u can change that

 

and i did have an rx and i plan on buy one thats already running isn't that the idea? so i can drive right away? no buy the cra fix den drive..sorry if i sound like an *******..don't mean to..the reason i ask is because i have not sat in many fd's the only one i sat in was our race car at the garage..and it has no stock gauges..

I'm pretty sure you can't change the lighting on any of Defi's gauges. They're all LED based lighting, and most of it is white with the dials providing the color.

I haven't seen anyone with the new BF series, probably since they're brand new. If you want something to match, get the D series...right on.
