Brilliant Black ????

I've got a Montego Blue and since they didn't have Montego Blue as a choice I went with Brilliant Black. They have white and Silver, The Red would stand out so I guess the choice would be yours. Personally I would get the Black....My $.02

badges? we don't need no stinkin' badges!

I agree with CantGoStraight. I'd want the badge to match the car's color. I also have a Montego, but the previous owner stuck a white Efini badge on it. I've never cared for the way it looks so I'm gonna see what I can do with some touch-up paint I just ordered from the dealer.

Badges !! We don't need no stinking badges

Did you get Montego Blue Skotx ????? Let me know how it turns out, I was thinking of doing that too. The black doesn't look bad on the car.

Yeah I ordered Montego Blue from the dealer. $5 for three or four ounces. Got some scratches I want to touch up too. The problem is that the badge is already on the car and I don't know if I want to try and pry it off. Do those badges come with an adhesive backing or do you have to do the job yourself? Should get the paint next week. I'll post pics unless I'm too embarrassed!

I have black on black as well and love the look. Looks so much cleaner and more stock in my opinion.

I think you might be getting confused by their terminology. A black Efini logo would have a black background but the logo itself would be chrome(ish). So black on black would look sweet, and as mentioned earlier, very stock. Check out this pic:

This is my badge. Since they don't make a Montego one (rat bastards!), I'm gonna paint the white part. I guess they make a white one for just that reason.

Fun with badges...

Question: Why do you guys get efini badges for your Mazda, since it was never labeled an "efini" over here? Does it make you cooler for people to say "What is that goofy looking symbol? Isn't that a Mazda?"? I think being a Mazda is cool. Mazda diamond.

Comment: You should get a red "R" badge from APC ... I think you can find them at AutoZone.

had mazda badges and people would still always roll down windows and ask me what the hell it was.......

so no DK, ive never heard anyone say
"What is that goofy looking symbol? Isn't that a Mazda?"

the mazda emblem on our car is different from the new mazda emblem so they might be wondering that anyways......IF they even wondered at all

I like the efini badge therefore i put efini badge on my car.....thats the story of why

and mine are black on black fd.....just front one though
rear is still the stock one

Wow, JoeD, I never knew you harbored such feelings towards me. We seem to agree on a lot of things. Anywho, I will pay you respect and answer your question -- No, I do not wash my car. The rain does, though.
