Exclamation What benefits does an aftermarket B.O.V. give you?

Hi Everyone, I'm pretty new to the whole turbo scene and all, and I'm not very educated in the FD3S(or any turbo for that matter), and I have seen a lot of people posting how they have a problem with "this" so they change the B.O.V. or "that" and they change the B.O.V. But what real advantages does an aftermarket B.O.V. have over the two stock ones? And do you have to buy two B.O.V.s, or are you supposed to link them somehow? Somebody please help me on this, I am getting so confused. Thanks for your time to anyone who posts.

And you don't replace the CRV (the BOV looking device closest to the firewall). So, you only buy/replace one BOV.
