You may want to list your goals for the car (I.E track only, daily driver, etc etc) as well as look into emission requirements.

Also it helps to mention the current running condition of the car and what mods you currently have.

Removing the air pump itself isn't really hard, just search for it.

Vac hose simplification do a search on and print a large color diagram of the vac hose diagram. All you can remove really is all of your emissions and the double throttle control. Both of these will have some side effects on how the car works though. Buy good silicon hose or you will hate life.

Be warned that modding (additions or removals) without understanding what you're doing is a cardinal sin with this car. It doesn't take much to make yourself face palm due to a blown engine.

V8s know their own tune. No fun smacking F bodies and Mustang boats when you are basically one of them...and no one is going to convince me hard cornering is not affected

Hard cornering can be compensated for. Saying a V8 RX7 is basically still an Fbody or Mustang is hurtful. and its still fun.

idk about the OP but it helps out a lot when you work on the car yourself so i wouldn't really call it stupidity... just my .02 but a lot of my other mods would be considered stupid so idk...

for the OP you really should search because theres def threads about this..

engine bay wise:
air pump
a/c
power steering >need to loop lines or convert to manual
fuel pump resistor> loop lines
abs>have to fab hardlines and add proportion valve
airbag and sensors (i have a 93 w aftermarket steering wheel flame on)
emissions delete > need block off plates and standalone ecu
if you are using stock twins> simplified "rats nest">simplify engine harness
AST delete

all i can think of at the moment...

Depends how far you want to go really - My car is a weekend toy and track car, and we don't have to worry as much about emissions over here in the UK.
Is it for tidyness? If so, there's a fair bit you can do

I've done all those in the above post, and also:
OMP removal
Relcoated ignition amp to inner wing.
Removed all unneeded relays
Relocated remaining relays (headlights, fan, TNS etc) to inner wings
Removed remainder of relay box.
Run brake lines under the subframe.
Ditched the belt driven PS pump and runnng an electric one mounted to the chassis leg
Trimmed the loom of all unneeded connectors, traced back to the plugs on the ECU.

It's getting there, but not done yet.
I want to run the clutch line either through the cabin or under the car. I think under the isn't really do-able though.
Want to hide the FPR
Lambda sensor is ugly, but not much I can do about that
Replace the bonnet cable with a solenoid (currently running no cable as I can get to the latch through the bumper, and the old one snapped)
I may also relocate the washer botle as the cap is super ugly.

I plan on pulling the engine now everything is in and has it's place, and welding up all of the holes that are left, then getting the whole bay painted by a pro.

As I sit here on my third beer I feel the pain of the person that started this thread, but just like the other car I built (734whp honda), it's all about researching before speaking.

I'm on Honda-tech and there is almost no question you can ask there that hasn't already been answered. Biggest problem is knowing what to search or where to start. I am new to this site, but I have been following the FD3S since it first hit the pages of Road&Track as one of the only cars to do 1.xx in the lateral G test. So yeah, love the site! Need more beer now...
