weirdest sound my 7 has ever made!!!HELP!!!

Tonight was the last night I was gonna drive my RX7 before storing it. so I pushed it a little more than normal. I was going about 110-130 on the highway an when I got home I noticed there was a bad smell. Kinda like burnt rubber but I hadn't been spinning my tires mostly just highway driving. Then I let the turbo timer cool it down I came back out in my garage to see if anything was wrong. It was more smokey then normal and there was a weird bubbling noise coming from under the hood. I popped the hood and it sounded like coolant bubbling in the radiator or maybe it was the intercooler I don't know which I coulnt tell. It also seemed like when I got off the highway I had less boost (need a boost gauge badly) Is this normal or should I be worried?

hold on, ru telling me you do not pop your hood to let your car cool down a bit after going 130mph??? that is bad, you should know that rx-7s should be cooled down a bit before letting them rest. some people have pop their hoods and have fans blow on the motor. you should be doing this because you have a garage, i wish i had a garage!
as for the boiling, what is your ratio of water to radiator fluid? also do you have a water temp. gauge(im not talking about the stock one)?

That bubbling is probably the AST and it's okay. The platic smell should be traced. I don't know about that.

Yeah, pop the hood when cooling down. It also doubles as a heater.
