weird suspension/mount issue

Lately my rx7 has felt kinda funny...Every time I lay into the throttle it feels like the rear end squats and pivots...It never felt like this before (I have owned the car for 5yrs). I thaught iot may be a blown strut scince they were stock w/150k on them, I changed it out with a set of Tokico Illuminas and it still does it. I have put the car up on the rack and can not see anything wore or broken... I also notice the shift **** rising about 1.5" which I know isnt normall...what mount maybe out???

Thanks

Start by looking at the PPF (Power Plant Frame). Looks for any cracks.

If your shifter is physically moving, you basically have 3 places to check:

1. PPF
2. Engine mounts
3. Diff mounts
