Weird studering issue
Al of a suden my car started to act up yesterday. It is studering when I take off in 1st gear. It starts to buck and allmost stalls, then it will then be fine all the way through the rest of the gear. But when stop at a light, when i push in the clutch, the revs drop. The car allmost stalls then returns to a 1000rpm idle. WTF????
Clifnotes-
1000rpm idle
bucking when aclerating out of 1st gear
Allmost stalls when stopping at light
BTW- my vacum is holding at 16psi so I know it can't be a vacum leak. And my map sensor is plugged in.

Gosh, I'm still a newb, so I won't claim to be the ultimate diagnostician, but a lot of fellows here would bet it's the small switch located just above your clutch pedal. There's a spring in there that gets stuck. You'll notice that's another switch above that. It's the lower of the two. Simple to replace, I'm told. And cheap too.
Do a search for idle and clutch. Should bring up lots of posts.

the guy is right. get your head in the footwell, and follow the clutch pedal up till you see the little white button. Make sure it works ok.
and even if it looks like it works ok, that still doesnt mean it does. do the spring fix on it!

Also when I start the car cold, It idles at around 500-600rpm's.
I will check the clutch switch tommorow.
