weird question: can I fit 4 17" rims in the FD?

Hi guys,

I will be picking up a set of rims from Rishie in a little bit, and I had a question for you guy. Do you think I would be able to fit 4 17 inch rims into the FD? (two 17x8 two 17x9).

I will be taking out the passenger seat so I will be able to use that to store one rim. And I could lay one in the rear trunk and the other two can rest on the bins and the other rim sitting in the passneger side. I will be using blankets for cushioning so that nothing will get scratched.

Ao anyways, has anyone ever tried to use their FD to haul 4 rims around?

thanks

You could squeeze them in with the passenger seat still in the car. With the pass. seat out, no problem. Just make sure they are secured (tie them to the rear shock tower brace or something) -- you don't want them to get loose on you.....

you can put two rims in the passenger seat, well, two 17x8 rims anyway. the 17x9 should fit too , i had my 17x8 in a box and it fit on top of the passenger seat....barely.

4 wheels will fit but it will depend on the width and whether you can slide one under the strut bar.

Are there tires on the rims? Or just the rims?
