fuel pump problem

ok, i just put in a supra fuel pump 2 days ago. it seemed to be running fine, but when i was driving today it was acting funny. I was driving in 3rd at like 2500 rpm, and it goes pretty smoothe but it feels like every two seconds someone is just lightly tapping on the brakes, but it has nothin to do with the brakes. It is doing this when i keep it at a steady low rpm. When i hit the gas to speed up there is no hesitation, and when i have it full out it runs great. The problem is very minor, if someone was riding with me they pry wouldnt even notice unless they were looking for it. my mods are dp,hi flow, catback, intake,ic,pfc. any suggestions?

How long is this brake tapping thing last each time??? Does it make any unique sound?? If so where do you think its coming from?

it lasts like half a second. and it goes in two second intervals. im not sure what it would be, cuz the pump must be working fine to be able to go full throttle right? and if there were some kind of clog somewhere then i woud have trouble at higher rpm then lower
