Weird little problem with Clutch and Ebrake releasing?

I just noticed, when I had my car parked on a slope with the ebrake up.... whenever I push down the clutch when the car isn't on, the car would slide back. It's as if the ebrake gets released a little when the clutch gets engaged? WTF??

I tried it again after I started the car, and that didn't happen so this is pretty weird

Any ideas?

uhm...tighten your e-brake cable.
your disengaging your clutch,
and releasing the gear,
and your E-brake is self energizing as it's a drum in hat style brake...

that's my $0.02
