Weird Issue With My Headlights!!

so i was driving tonight
and all of a sudden my headlights cut out
wouldnt retract down or anything...

its like theres no power going to any part of the headlights at all

all the rest of the lights still work (side markers, tails, gauges, everything)

but its like only the headlights (motors and bulbs) are isolated from power

any ideas what this could be?

thanks,
VJ

Sounds like a blown 30 amp "Head" fuse. If that fuse is open, there is no power to either the headlights or to the Retractor Switch. Wiring diagram (for a 1994 FD) is attached.

How'd that fuse check out? Check your wires to see if there might be a reason it blew (if in fact it did) Otherwise I'd check the relay

Yea was just gonna say the fuse. Isn't that for just the retraction mechanism though?
