Ok, i want to put a intake, downpipe and a midpipe, w/ the stock muffler on my 94 rx7, if i get a fuel pressure regulator, will that work instead of a ecu for now, until i can get one, let me know what you think if i can do this or not, and what would you do if it was your car., thanks

 

I dont think you can do it. You're risking your engine.

 

Why would you get a midpipe before getting a cat-back? BTW, since you only have 10 posts, I am assuming that you haven't had your FD very long. Why don't you keep it stock for a while to get familiar with the car. Get a boost gauge if you don't have one already. You should also make sure the car is running great before doing any performance mods. Also, I wouldn't do all those mods at the same time. Do one at a time to get a feel for what each mod does. This will also make any necessary troubleshooting much easier. Plus, if you do a bunch of mods all at once, it will be that much harder to wait to do more...

 

Damn, and I was about to completely mod mine!

But I've had it for 2 + years and I need to do the hose job anyway so I figured might as well throw in the IC, DP, PFC, boost gauge...

 

Yo totally agree. Do the neccessities (sp?) first and then it will be more fun to span your mods over a period of time. Other wise, you will get used to the fact that you should put all mods on at once which in reality isn't very possible.

 

The reason I have to get a midpipe is because it is clogged, and the guy that is making my midpipe said he might as well make me a downpipe while my car is up in the air, and I was wondering if I could put that on as well.

 

you can do a downpipe and midpipe on stock ecu, but it will be on the ragged edge, add an intake and boom
