weird clutch problem??
hi gents,
i am now finally able to drive my car after a long drawn out rebuild, anyways i am having issues with the clutch, i fitted a carbonetic twin plate clutch and i replaced all the lines to the clutch from the bulkhead as it comes with a push/pull convertor
problem is that when i first start the car from cold all feels good and the clutch bites mid pedal which feels good (also has decent full stroke pressure), it drives fine until i stop and shut the car off,
when i restart it after a short time the clutch pedal feels bad!!
the pedal has absolutely no pressure until half way through the stroke, which means my foot is hard to the floor as it bites and just does not feels good at all,
any ideas?
could it be the master cylinder seals as it has been sat up for around 10 months now so maybe they are perished?
thanks lee

when you bled your system .. did u adjust the pedal so it`s all the way up ( it has a bolt and nut mechanism ) .. unless this is done you will have air bubbles in your system which may cause inconsistent pressure
