On my 93 RX-7 my alarm is acting funny. The car starts and acts normal. Then, if I turn on the lights the alarm light and the seat belt light start flashing. If I turn off the head lights it stops. Turn head lights back on it starts again. Nothing else happens, no noises (i.e. horn), no flashing head lights, nothing. It started last night and is really annoying to look at while driving.

Anyone got any ideas other than replacing the alarm computer.

 

Disconnect the stock alarm and get an aftermarket one?

Do a search under "stock alarm" in the 3rd gen section. It should tell you the various ways of disconnecting the alarm
