Weighed my R1....2720 lbs!
There's a military scale in Fort Hood that allows you to just drive up and weigh the car as often as you like. My Mustang friend Jarod told me about it (I knew he was good for something . On the way there got pulled over, got a ticket from some damn MP for 42 in a 30. $45 down the drain. With an almost empty tank (about 5 gallons) the car weighed in at 2720! I also determined that my subwoofer weighs 40 lbs, so the car is 2760 with it in.
With weight of driver, 2920. I was pleasantly surprised...I think removing the stock catback and precat helped to drop the weight from the ~2800 stock figure. Jarod was like, "Damn, that's a lot lighter than my Mustang...no wonder it's so fast ".
Once I remove the a/c, p/s, cat, and airpump, she'll be under 2700 lbs. I like my ladies slim and trim :p...
Thought you'd all like to know...

Rich,
post the low down on your air pump removal when you get to that point...I have yet to see a good overview of how to do it and how the car runs with it out...I know Poweraxel says to leave it in, that the car runs better at idle and low rpm with it in

Some cars have been known to idle terrible with the airpump off, while others have been known to idle just fine. Mine idled just fine without it, but don't remove it if you still have your main cat. Otherwise, you'll burnup the main cat real quick.

I took my air pump off once... then I put it back on.
I had the kit and all, but idle was terrible and low RPM running was shoddy. Can't have that when you're racing the car on a road course.
I plan to try and remove it again some day, maybe once I finish up my current projects. Next time I'll see if I can find the right resistance terminator to make the ECU think it still has the air pump.
But... all that to say the air pump only weighs about 20 lbs... so a good diet can relieve just as much of a burden from your car...
