R2, ~2700 nearly stock
'95 R2: 2740lbs with a FULL tank of gas, nearly stock everything except replaced muffler with cat-back stainless 3" T304 pipe (spare tire out)

1994 Base model, with 30-50lbs of weight reduction mods (PC680 battery, DP, removed cruise control).
2691 lbs with about 10 gallons of fuel in the tank. Spare tire and jack were removed also.

its not totally gutted, i'll give you that. you have a kirkey racing seat, no passenger seat, a gutted back half, no power steering, no AC, insanely light weld wheels and skinnies, a solid rear axle, a single turbo, a straight exhaust, 4link rear suspension, etc.
obviously your car is nowhere near stock weight, doesnt even have the stock back half of the drivetrain in it, and is nothing like the majority of the others' FDs in this thread, so why even post in here.
yet another excuse to get some attention to try to sell your car and post pictures of it all over the place?

So, you're only allowed to post if you have a stock car? I have a aftermarket seat, so everyone with a aftermarket seat has a race car? I pulled the passenger seat out, that must make it a racecar? I pulled my a/c and powersteering, that must make it a racecar. My accord doesn't have AC, that must make it a racecar. So, I have light wheels, that must make it a racecar? I have a upgraded rear end, that must make it a racecar? I have a single turbo, upgraded suspension and a apex-i N1 exhaust, that must make it a racecar.
So, everyone who has a car that's lighter, faster and more modified car that YOURS is a racecar?
All cars faster than YOURS are is a racecar?
Any car not built under a tree in a backyard by an idiot making less per hour than YOU is a cheating, professional race car?
Any racer who willingly spends more money than YOU has a racecar?
Any racer whose vehicle works better than YOURS has a racecar?
My car weighed 2,300 LBS when it looked like this, it was a racecar also?

yeah. next time i'll be sure to explicitly state that drag cars with solid rear axles, weld wheels, skinnies and a gutted hatch dont need to post.

I'm very impressed at how much weight LUPE took out of his car, even though I'm not a fan of the drag-racer rear end. Everything else looks really good, and I'd love to hear about some of your 'secrets.' I've heard of Miata racers going as far as trimming the lengths of bolts, or even drilling them hollow.
LUPE, what's causing your left side to be heavier than the right? The turbo and exhaust are mounted on the right side of the car, I doubt the seat weighs more than those two things combined.

just for fun i weighed my 94 touring with a full tank of gas, back up fluids(qt. of oil and gal. of coolant)in the trunk,and me (218lbs.), 3160lbs.. looks like my fd and i need to lose some weight. lol
