Question Weak Primary T Boost and Overboost on Secondary T ?????

I have a weird problem. My first turbo spools up really slowly. I mean my boost patterns are like:

3000 rpm 5-6 psi
4500 rpm 10 psi
4500 rpm 14-15! psi

*And yes, I did get a Profec B to control boost. But, I'm not sure it's working But that another issue (See my other post)

What can be causing this?? How can I be getting such crappy primary boost and overboost to scary proportions on the secondary turbo?

Any ideas? I thought you had to have a working primary to have the secondary to work....

sounds like a stuck turbo controll valve causing NON-SEQUENTIAL opperation and/or inmproper hook up of turbo control valve, wastegate control, and turbo pre-controll.

Might be the M2 ECU, I noticed you have one as wll, I'm experiencing the same boost patterns. It acts more like a non-sequential or single.

This only hold true for me though in lower gears....when I get to 5th gear I can get the full 13psi at 3000rpm.

I'm running the M2 ECU with a DP,MP,CB,FMIC, and Intake...but I don't have the ProfecB.

Pressurized,

I don't think it's the ECU. I just got installed a dp. Prior to that I was lucky to even see 8-9 psi at all. Since I got the dp my boost patterns have been 5-10-14+. They haven't changed since the ECU installation.

Now I'm trying to controll the boost spikes with a used Profec B. But I don't think I have it installed correctly. No effect!

??? Aren't you worried about overboosting???

Well, if you figure out what's wrong, post it on here because my boost pattern has been all over hell.

I had the original 13-13-13, but then I started adding parts.....ever since the FMIC, I haven't been able to get a normal pattern.

I mean, I really don't mind the pattern, it's like being non-sequential....but it just bothers me that I don't know why it's like that.

As for overboosting, I'm not worried at the moment. The M2 has very rich maps, and I'm running a restrictor plate to keep it from creeping too high. I'm thinking about trying a 'pop-off valve' as well.

If I ever get the time I'm going to convert to non-sequential anyways.
