the LS1 swap is the dumbist thing you can do to an RX7,its ******* insulting!!!takeing a nice *** 3rd gen and putting an LS1 in it,thats fucked up!!i mean dont get me wrong i have done alot of aftermarket motor swaps but that has ben old school musel, turning inline six dodge darts to full blown 360 NOS injected 600 + horse power wheelie cars, but never would i insult a rotary car with this kind of swap!

His car man, he can do what he wants in my opinion. Would you flame him if he put a 20B into an AE86, Altezza or skyline?? Hell i would put a rotary in anything (and we just about do here), I don't really see the difference, its just a guy doing something different. My mate put a 13B Turbo into a Toyota Hi-Ace Van, is that bad too?
I am not totally a fan of the swap either but I take my hat of to the people who have the brains to figure it all out and put into action then complete it.

Oh and please do not think I am being negative towards you, I just think its his car, he can do whatever he feels like doing to it

to every one aside from badsvn!if you like the swap dont look on a form titled "We all hate the ls1 swap"and to those of you who think the LS1 is a good motor, shut up,you know what chevys and tampons have in common?ONLY WOMAN NEED THEM!!!and to badvn,i agree i would put a rotary in anything,i have put one in a toyota truck ((yeah its basicly the same as the rotary truck from mazda but when you get a good free motor and a good free truck with a 4 banger, hell mite as well))but as for the LS1 swap mazda ((i dont know if it still is but at least once was))ownd by ford,so atleast dont insult ford with a chevy swap!
