WB Bung?
Is there a better place to put a WB bung on the MP. Is it better towards the front of the pipe or the back of the pipe. Or the sensor facing up or down or on the sides? Dose it even matter? Seems like since the heat is the main cause for the sensor to fail/die you would want the sensor at the end of the MP but the majority seem to do it at the front of the MP. Just thought i would take some others input beforei started to drill!

The farther back you put it, the more lag there will be with the response. Placing the sensor at the end of the downpipe/beginning of the midpipe seems to be the best compromise between heat and lag.
Sensor orientation is very important. The sensor usually is required to be within 15 degrees of vertical. You can read through Chris Regan's write-up. It's very thorough, as are all his write-ups:
