which way does the fuel filter arrow point to? does it point to the map sensor or away?

its not the actuall fuel filter under the car its the small one in the bay.

Agreed, there is no stock fuel filter under the hood of an FD. If you're seeing something that looks like a fuel filter, it's either 1) not a fuel filter, or 2) is a fuel filter and someone relocated it under the hood (not entirely uncommon, but there are arguments against it...mainly vapor lock).

So...take another look and let us know.
