waterpump housing and waterpump removal question

when you guys install this back on do you use some kind of silicone sealant or just the gaskets?

I make my own gasket using a rubber impregnated gasket material. Just to aid in keeping the gasket where I want it (and keep it from tearing) if removed at a later time and date I'll lightly spread some silicone sealant over it on both sides. I also put silicone on the bolt/long studs that go into the water jacket to keep it from leaking around the threads.
