water temps too low!!!

My pfc is showing between 30 and 40 degrees when fully warmed up, in 90 degree weather. Could this be corrected (recalibrated) on ther pfc commander, or is it a bad sensor? The stock gauge in the instrument panel seems to be reading normal, which is about right smack in the center, as always. Anyway, this problem, isn't letting the 7 perform nearly as well as it should. I'm desperate for help!!!!! If, in fact it is a sensor, where would it be located.

It's most likely the thermosensor.

Actually, i'm the guy that made that other thread a few days ago.It just died out. But, It's just frustrating the heck out of me. Especially, when I've almost solved this one. Believe me, I've put over 100k miles on this search engine in the past few days alone. Also, what's the differnce between the water temperature sender and the thermosensor, and where exactly are they located? Thanks in advance.

my bad.... I PM'ed ya 93R1

Also i would like to know the difference too, I always though, the water temp is routed to the car computer first, if that is true, both temps should be the same correct? I thought like in older cars, your temp just goes straight to the gauge... im I wrong...?

I think new cars go to the ecu first because it's electronic. The older ones used mechanical, so they had to go straight to the instument panel. Therefore, in this case it should go to the computer 1st.
