Water leakage into car
Hi guys,
Just wondering how many of you have water collect inside the car after a good hard rain. Mine always gets wet on the floor behind the driver's seat and water accumulates in the spare tire storage area. Has anyone else had these problems & did you aver find out where the water was coming in?
TIA, Chris.

Do you have a sunroof? If so, you might check the drains for it. There are four, two that run down the 'A' pillar and two more that run to the quarter panel dog-leg. If you have an air compressor, it's good to blow them out occasionally anyway. Just a thought.

There are a couple usual suspects to check.
There is a screw or two that holds the cover down over the taillight in the hatch, they thread into little plastic things that have a foam seal and sometimes leak. Check those.
If you have an R1/R2 spoiler on the hatch sometimes those leak and allow water to get into the hatch area.
I think you'll find your problem in one or both of those places.
