Water Gurgling Noises - is this normal?

Hi there,

Just got my girl a stunning G3. She loves the car and has owned 2 G1’s previously. All appears to work well and my mechanic has given her a good going over (the Rx7 that is)...

Only thing we notice is some rather loud gurgling and water-cooling noises after stopping. All temp gauges appear normal.

Therefore my question is this – are these gurgling noises on cool down normal?

All the best.

Mark

Replace the thermostat, coolant, turbo water lines, water line under UIM and maybe the one from the block to the throttle body. Make shure the radiator hoses don't have leaks and also the radiator tank and AST. Drain the block by removing bolt. Fill with throttle body line disconected (AST first). Now you can burp the system by starting the car for about 30 sec, turning it off, removing filler cap, repeat three times (give radiator hoses a couple squeezes).

To burp the system, this tool is especially helpful.

Coolant Burping Tool/ Radiator Cap Funnel/ Lisle Tools
