Warranty Return?
Well just yesterday I was with a fellow rotorhead who owns an FD. Well for some reason I noticed that his pinkslip/ Title said it was a Warranty Return instead of being a clean title? He told me it was titled Warranty Return b/c it was a lemon something of that sort, he didn' really get into it. I was wonderig what it was and would this effect the resale value of his FD. Since it's in very good shape. I was just wondering?

California has strict rules for cars that are returned to the dealer for a recurring problem. Once an automobile has been in for the same repair or numerous repairs for different failing systems, the state will indicate this on the title to protect future owners from a possible lemon.
CarFax or a Mazda dealership should be able to pull the history with the VIN.
It could possibly affect resale but a CarFax report should put a buyers mind at ease.
