Putting ATF in your engine to "clean it out" is the most stupid thing I have EVER heard on this forum. Anybody got any engineering data on this from Mazduh? How about GM or Ford or Honda?

No, I didn't think so.

Cleaning your injectors with a professionally designed system is one thing, and MIGHT need to done every 100,000 miles or so. But putting anything except gasoline and oil where it belongs will **** up your engine.

the only time i believe you should do it is on a motor that has high miles/lower compression (to help build a 'seal' and that has been sitting for a few years...(an old 12a to help lube it all up again)

that is all. it is an old trick that someone turned into this magical cleaning device that helps your motor....
but that is just my opinion.
