Wanted pics, tips: Coolingmist /windshield washer tank/engine bay for 3rd gen

I’m looking for some pics of the Coolingmist kit installed utilizing the windshield washer tank. I would like to mount the pump in the engine bay area but want to know where others have mounted theirs in the engine compartment. You can email me pics at eggone@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance

I just sold my car so I do not have pics, but here is what I did with my Aquamist.

I used the cruise control module holder (right next to the igniter) as a bracket for the pump. I removed the cruise control module, and then mounted the pump in its place. The windscreen lines comes out there as well. At least that is where mine was because they never hooked it back up when the carbon fiber hood was put in.

I used the windscreen washer bottle as well for the resivour. Because the resivour sat below the pump I needed to make a little pulse extender to prime W/I pump. Pretty cool little device. Anyways, the link is below.

There is also tons of useful, (read non BS) information on the aquamist forum.

Good luck with your project.

No pics but my pump is mounted on the fiberglass ducting for my PFS intercooler. Since I am running a 51R batt, it does fit there -- not a fun fitment job.

Once I get my car back from my builder I will be taking pics of everything, hopefully that will be soon! I've actually got some updates I will be doing to the CoolingMist setup, as my kit is over a year old -- thanks David! -- upgrading the pump to the 100 psi version and changing out some of the connections to the newer and more reliable style.

It shouldnt be too hard to utilize the windshield washer tank. Im not exactly sure how much water it holds but the 2.5 quart container i have only lasts about 4 quarter mile runs on my dual stage system. So I would if you have the same system I would suggest checking how much water it holds or get a low level detector.

On another note, i suggest water injection to everyone. It feels great, and I am having no problems running around 20-21 psi on my t78. I tuned on race gas without the WI and run at least a little bit of c16 in the tank to bump up my octane though. Im gonna be turning it up to around 25 psi if my injectors allow me to. I have 550 primaries and 1600 secondaries right now. I dont think i will get that high with how rich I want my car running. Time will tell!

Also, I dont care what anyone says about it, i definately feel a power increase with the water injection turned on. I have been doing some testing lately.
