I just got my FD out of the shop and was wanting opinions on how it turned out and also some ideas on future exterior mods.

Looks good! Any thoughts on a wing...I'd get a subtle one, not one of the those CF 57" long ones. Maybe a Feed?

Good job man.

I'm really not a big veilside fan, but it looks like it was well put together. I think it actually keeps it from looking overdone not having a wing with that kit, the veilside kit is so "yowza" it tends to make cars look a bit rediculous sometimes. Nice work.

Not my choice of stuff, but you got quality parts and quality work, so props to that. I actually think a small GT style wing would fit that best. However, think you should get some suspension first to drop it a bit.

I don't like the body modifications you've done but it looks like everything was installed well.

well, whether i like it or not, these guys are right, it does look like a lot of time and effort has gone into that. i've been looking at the cardomain page and i'm impressed. i just don't like the body kit. keep up the good work though.

Thanks for your opinion. I have ben looking for the right suspension before I buy some. Do you have any suggestions on some good suspension for a FD that is a every day driver and not really for the track? And I wont have the funds for coilovers for at least 6 months so can you recommend a budget one for now. Thanks

Those are Work rims. 18'' rear and 17'' front

*edit* That is the first time I have ever liked the Veilside kit. Looks good in my opinion. Nice job

love the Volk gtu's. I was either planning to put those or the Konig imagines on my car. I would leave the car without a spoiler or get one from a R1/R2.

You FD's finished off very nicely. Like others said I'm not a big fan of the route you took, but at least you took the time and money to have it done right. Congrats on a very clean and beautiful car.

Without the nose, I think the FD would look fine. It does look like it was put together well though. Both cars together look great.

Great cars, I see a lot of dedication went into your car.

BTW when I click the pic to enlarge it on your cardomain site, it's doesn't enlarge instead it decreases in size.

I'd suggest just getting a set of Koni adjustables and use the stock springs. The spring perch on the Konis is height adjustable and you can choose between 3 settings.

No your not weird, its a veilside kit witch means high quality and its not cheap. The hood is a Scoot hood whitch can be bought on sale at Rotary extreme for $500 I think. Unfortunatly I payed $900. The reason I went red is because I wanted a fd that stands out in a croud and a color that really shows the shape of the veilside kit. I like black & and dark colors but I feel if I'm going to spend thousands of dollars on exterior, then I want it to show not be hidden in the shadows. The shop that did my body work is Precision auto body in sacramento ca, 95817 (916)455-3888. ask for mike. His prices are extremely reasonable. For suspention i am wanting to spend well under a grand for now. thanx for the props......

like alot of people not a fan of veilside, but that thing looks real good. i think it looks good without a wing, as long as u keep stickers off of it i think its sweet.
