so im not totally hating, if u MUST, like if ya like the kit or whatever it is get that but do your own paint and stuff. not only is it retarded to copy a car from a shitty movie, but really copying anything kind of sucks. be original.

well bud.... i suggest you buy a civic and convert it to a F&F rx7 or just get a remote controled F&F FD. seriously though, like nutbagsun said, BE ORGINAL and stop coying other cars! or at least copy a FD that doesnt looks like a red piece of rock that rolled out of a volcano.

you know they are all correct, vielside's kits in my opinion are crack pot kits, they just destroy the loosk of cars utterly. Not one of their kits look decent to say at the least. If your going to spend that much cash and mimic a car then mimic all the other 300 cwest cars out there, or if you really want a sweet looking ride for the same price you can Replicate The FEED vr 3 car, quite possibly one of the MOST beautiful kits out there. Slap advan rims on there a GT wing and your done.

I didn't really like the looks of the velside kit, or the basic depth of that movie, but I was pleased to see an RX-7 being showed off in a movie (albeit in somewhat bad taste). Why care if he "ruins" his car with that bodykit. It's his car and if that's what he likes........

Nicely said.....it is his car, why do people care that much to something that does not affect them personaly. I don't like that kit as much as i don't like some other kits like the RE Amemiya AD9. But to each their own. The Veilside looks way better tham the AD9. But try to be more origianl, thats just something to think about!!!!

Since the thread isn't locked YET lol...no matter how inaccurate the movie was, you gotta love and appreciate it helping the resale value of FDs, as well as maintaining the aura of the FD as a legendary sportscar. So in that sense, I love the movie. I don't like how ricey a lot of things in it are, and how it sparked a ton of guys to go all out rice, but hey, if that keeps my FD's value high, and helps promote the sport compact/import scene as a whole, I'll take it any way I can get it. Let 'em go rice...who cares? It's not like they're MAKING you go rice as well!

Like someone else said...I don't exactly see other movies addressing the same lifestyle...so don't be hypocritical and hate on it. I bet you owners of the Shelby Mustang and Dodge Chargers LOVED how the value of their cars skyrocketed after Gone in 60 Seconds and Dukes of Hazzard came out.

 

i havnt seen that c2 kit for a long time....dont really like the front bumper...i like the skirts and the rear though..maybe try going with something a bit more subtle in the front

becasue that was just too sad to say anything about....just too sad....Though I kinda liked the graphic on it...woudl have worke dbetter on a titanium colored car with the graphic in blue or a digital green.
