Vibrations/Juddering at low revs.

Looking to pic up a big single tub FD. The only thing that worries me about it is that it vibrates at low revs. My FC does this and i'm under the impression that its doe to knackered engine mounts. The FD im looking at has a torque damper , transmission brace and a diff brace. Are these likely to cause the vibrating, and is it a problem? I don't mind it, but if its a problem it means it'll need sorting, thus i'll knock the guy down on the price.

Cheers

It's probably all the bracing. Taking out the play/dampening of bushings and making everything rigid transmits vibration.

Mine started doing jitters and sounding like something is broken in the rear at times when I put on the Banzai diff brace. Then the car started vibrating when I put on the Banzai engine mounts (full tightness).

My torque damper never caused me any noticable vibration so you don't have to worry about that. I tought it off though when I put in the engine mounts though since I figured it wasn't needed anymore.
