The **** you turn for the vents (defroster, floor, etc.) isn't working anymore. I can still turn it but no matter what I put it on, it still only blows air out of the dash vents. Are these electrical or with a hose. Anyone else had the same problem or know what it might be. I would rather wait for answers then rip the dash apart and then possibly find the problem.

If yours was ever working, you could tell that when you turn the selector ****, it wasn't a mechanical thing. My FD has a similar problem...When the selector is on Defrost the air comes out the dash vents, and when it's on dash vents, it comes out the defroster vents. All of the other settings seem to work fine.

Anyway, if it's not working now, it might be a bad connection, or the contacts on the selector **** might be bad. I'm going to schedule an appt for my FD to get this done under warranty, and hopefully score new units.
