Hey all, can anyone tell me the instrument cluster I have and its value? Hard to find researching and I have a guy locally selling one very similar for $1500. He’s saying his is a Mazda speed and very rare… any info would be great. Thanks!
It looks like aftermarket replacement faces. Does not say Mazdaspeed. Does not have the center indentation. You can buy replacement faces for under 100.
Has the cluster been serviced by a known repair specialist?
The 320 kmph is odd.
A year or so ago, a well known parts trader had about 10 JDM cluster redone with aftermarket faces. They were serviced and working. I think he was asking about $500 each, but I don't think many sold.

thanks for the info. I know nothing about it, it was in the car I got and prefer a normal cluster in MPH since I’m in the states.
There have been a few listings up at auction for this type of cluster. Asking big money for them too. Unfortunately it’s hard to tell from pics how the faces look like. Getting faces to match the OEM outlook is practically impossible. Which is why so many of our OEM clusters cost so much.
Even the aftermarket clusters from known 3rd parties (Feed, RE, Panspeed, etc) always have their logos on theirs and they match the OEM light output and face texture (which is to say smooth almost film like).
I was curious to see how this cluster fares against the OEM’s but I couldn’t bare the thought of spending 3G’s cdn for my curiosity.
In the end I waited till a real Mazdaspeed cluster came up for auction.

I gotcha, yeah I would spend that much. Call me lame, I just want the original or similar in there. I don’t need/want the KM style.
what am I looking to spend for something like that?
I'm 99% certain that's my old cluster from around the mid-00's when I imported a ton of parts from jp. I was never able to verify what brand it was and the importer did not either. I specified for the "real" MS cluster that Neo has but got that instead.

wow! Very interesting… so you wanna buy it back? Ha ha I’m just kidding.
it probably was about that time it was purchased, knowing the ownership of this car.
did you ever find out if it was a MS? I guess it never uploaded on my original post but here’s the sticker I found on it. Look familiar? Can’t find anything on it.
The sticker would be for the underlying unit. Perhaps NEO has a pic of the sticker on his genuine MS cluster. Probably something other than "F100".
It is cool the original sticker has the original chop of the inspector. Possibly a Mr. (or Ms.) Furuno. ("old-field")
I would love to say I took pics of every possible angle of my cluster, but I didn’t. Now that it’s installed, I won’t be going back in there anytime soon.
I think the consensus is it’s an original JDM cluster someone changed the dials on. That being said, a lot of these type of clusters go between $380-500 cdn for the normal OEM black on white dials.
2002 Mazdaspeed catalogue puts the white face "Sports Driving" cluster as part number QCDS-55-40Z; Price Y102,000
The blue faced unit is also in the catalogue, but without a product number. it says "under development".
The "final" parts catalogue for Version 1 cars lists 10 different versions of the cluster, depending on the options configurations (such as AT, MT, Sunroof, no-sunroof, etc.)
Also in earlier catalogues, they list PN for the many components of the cluster. In later catalogues, they only list the cluster as a complete unit.
But the faces do not appear to be sold separately.
The Catalogue reference number for the cluster is 55-430.
The cluster for the earliest base model: manual (no sunroof) is: F100-55-430D, as an example.
