Vacuum lines missing?

Ok
So i have started to replace my vacuum pipes
I have got as far as removing the intake manifold over the engine.
I have been reading all the how toos and looking at the diagrams but canot find my answer.
There seems to be a spare metal vacuum line located under the inlet manifold with all the others. Is this normal or used for something i dont need. or am i missing pipes. i cannot find it on the diagram or on any web site.
any help would be appreiated.

There is a vacuum line in the rats nest that's just for automatics.. if you have a 5 speed, it's just left open.

Here's a pic of where mine used to be.
