Vacuum lines
ok. newbie question. try not to flame too bad. what are the vacuum hoses for? ive seen them, but i dont know what they do. can anyone help out? thanks guys.

ok well the only thing i see there is how to replace the hoses. ive been to that site plenty of times. but nothing there tells me what they are for or do.

As you see, the vacuum system is used to control valves that have to do with the turbos and emissions.
i.e. that's why when there is a vacuum leak (depending on the location) you can have emissions problems or boost problems.
