Hi guys I just got a quick question---

what water and air temp. would you see on a V-moutend Intercooler and radiator setup? - On setups like Rotary extream v-mount and such?



I was wondering because I just got done with my Blitz V-mount and after driver for 20-30 min my water temp droped to 77c and air to 26c on the highway going between 70-80mph ( it was about 61f-63f outside) but going home on local streets hitting every red light it went up to 80c. It seems good for cooling but is it as good as other v-mount or Not. Its seemed like sometimes the more I reved the faster it go cooler, I am sure on the track I might be in 90.

 

When compared to my own v mount setup (fabbed splitter, universal intercooler and universal radiator), those are the same temps as what I see. On track with the ambient at 26c, she settles in at 92-94c.

 

in texas I have like 42-45C ambient air temps all said and done. Water temps take a while to climb but settle in at 86C at city cruising. 87-89 in traffic and 88 at highway cruise.

 

^Same here for city driving. It may step up a digit when A/C is on, but not much.
