V-mount question

For those of you with a V-mount set up: Is the lower rad support needed or used with this set up? I cant imagine it is, but this is why I am asking. My lower rad support is broken but I'm going to get a moster V-mount somtime soon so I need to know if I need this bar. Thanks

You mean the rad support that's actually part of the sway bar mount?

You don't need that part but if your sway bar mounts are broken, you need to get some not because they are needed for vmount but broken sway bar mounts affect the handling of the car greatly.

The radiator in the V-mount set up is held up by quality custom made brackets from RE (Rotary Extreme) and does not use the stock radiator supports. As for the intercooler, it is held by a bracket welded onto the top part of the IC core and the IC piping/couplers.
