Nope.

Just the two rotors and the ec...whatever shaft. (doh, I can't remember how to spell it) Surrounded by the housings and such, naturally.

More or less...

No head, that's for sure.

The rotors are held in a layered housing - and the exhaust and intake are simply holes in the housings that open/close by the rotor passing by them. Valve/Cam adjustments are analogous to porting (grinding out these ports). Bolt-on mods (intake, cat-back, downpipe) will get you your first 25-30hp gain, after that the fuel system is easy to overtax. And you don't want that. Read the post under 'A' for advice in the newbie FAQ thread: https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/faq-3rd-gen-other-useful-links-68640/. If you're serious about a project RX-7, then the material in that thread should be absorbed and used as background knowledge.

The engine is as unreliable as you make it. If you intend to drive the horsepower up, it will not be terribly reliable. A stock motor, properly cared for will last 100k with a little luck. With mods or misuse, that can go down drastically. Poor tuning (running lean) can blow your motor at any point in its life, if you don't know what you're doing.
