What I meant was I wonder how the lights would look in the knightsports housings.

And it is not nice to see that even in Japan people rip off Re Amemeiya.... Fenders, sides and rear are RE-GT kit.

Here's more stuff I collected when browsing Japanese RX7 sites and one pic from 3rotor.com.

From what I remember, aren't these parts extremely rare Mazdaspeed parts?

they're not rare - most of the catalog is still available from Mazda. Mazdaspeed bodykit parts would be #1 for JDM FDs. After them, probably Amemiya and C-West.

That kit looks way better in the stock photo than it does in real life. The side openings are much larger in the photo.

What's the name of the body kit thats in the last picture from 3rotor.com? I think it is Mazdaspeed too, but can't be sure. Also, did Mazdaspeed produce those headlights?

given the location of the pic, I would guess that it may well be a prototype of that kit. Headlights aren't in the catalog.

It's a good thing that people respect other people's property in Japan and generally don't vandalize crap. I know that if someone did that over in the US those screens would've been bashed in or ripped out in a matter of days.

Vandalism does happen in Japan quite often. Similarly, if your car gets in an accident on the road, the police will put a plastic "fence" around your car as to not attract attention from others going on the highway to have consistent traffic-free flow. If you vandalize property in Japan, they take you away and delete any traces of your existence...

I don't think that this front end isn't so bad. Although from some angles it does look goofy.

Next, I ran across a site while I was searching on info on the mysterious bigfoot-like dreaded RX7 wagon hatch. Check out his DIY section and take a look at how he converts his headlights to use Nissan Cima (Infiniti Q45) seven-lense projectors. There's also a DIY guide to converting your rear tails to LED.

Anyways, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
There is no way you could run that first front end from garage whatever. There are no signals or anything. Looks like a cop magnet to me.

cops wont be a concern. i'm sure that's designed for track use, not street. they're not that stupid when modifying/ designing their own bumpers.
