Unorthodox pulleys question

I have the full pulley set from unorthodox for my 3rd gen. I have asked unorthodox what precautions i should take in the installation and they made it sound pretty simple but as we all know, if i remove that bolt and screw it up, the consequences are pretty severe.
Does anyone have any particular advice or experience with these pulleys before i do the installation?
By the way, i asked pettit how much they would charge to do it and their reply was , they dont do it at all......................i wasnt encouraged by that.

thanks

Follow the installation instruction to the letter when it comes to the part about applying pressure on the bell housing. I have installed mine and I had to get a friend to help. Some one needs to be on the bottom to prevent the ecc shaft from releasing while the main bolt is removed (need a good impact wrench for this). Good luck.

Do you have to do this with the greddy pulleys? Is it just as tough to install them?

All the device pulleys are easy to install. It's the main drive pulley that is a pain in the @$$. The eccentric shaft bolt is kept under spring tension and once loosen, if nothing keeps the tension on the shaft it will cause the Torrington bearing to become misaligned and tear apart when the engine starts up again(you may get lucky and it won't happen, but why take the chance). It doesn't really matter what pulley kit you use, as long as you have to loosen the main drive shaft bolt, you will HAVE TO follow those instructions.
