I got mine new from Ray for about $120 i think. It's awkward to ship because it's rather large.

I've also seen aftermarket ones made out of aluminum.

They do more than just keep debris from hitting your radiator, they play a large role in efficient cooling by forcing air to go THROUGH your rad in stock configuration, as opposed to just going around it. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) they also help with the aerodynamics of the car by reducing turbulence underneath the front end of the vehicle.

If someone has a CNC program for an aluminum please share it, or offer a group buy, I'd love to get one but to make the program was $600+ materials @ around $60 and I'm not prepared to pay that for something I could get / mod from the dealer for $140 But if someone already has done that I wouldn't mind sharing the burden, and paying say $140 for an aluminum one.

I thought about making an undertray out of aluminum, but as I started to lay it out I realized that the stock one was a pretty complicated and well designed piece.

I decided to just repair the cracks in mine by reinforcing/repairing the cracks with the sheet aluminum and washered rivets.

+1 for the stocker

BTW, if anyone knows of a good source and type for the foam moulding along the bottom and sides of the radiator I'd be interested in that.

To the OP, you definitely want something under there. It's vitally important to proper cooling performance.

I re-did my foam trim using 1.5x1.5" weatherstripping foam and some kind of foam adhesive. I don't daily drive my car but it's holding up fine for now and doesn't look to be any different than the original stuff.

I don't recommend buying a used one. I consider it a disposable item. Buying a used one is like buying used underwear.

It's made of plastic. Unless it came off a rally car it shouldn't be in bad shape...
