Under car panel for cooling at the track?

Hi all,

I am planning to head to the track soon and was wondering if it is imperative that I have the under engine panel for cooling? I bought the car with a type 2 feed style front bar so the oem won't fit.
I understand that it largely helps cool the intercooler and radiator, especially because I have a front mount.

Feed sell a under panel that will fit my bumper but it is very $$,

I wouldn't track my car without one. Shine auto project sells under panels and is on this forum. Look in the vendor section. His pricing is very reasonable for these parts. Shipping might add up for you tho.
