Two tranny/shifter problems
1st: When in fifth gear and under med-hard acceleration the shifter vibrates from side to side very hard. I have no problems getting it into 5th and it never grinds. Any ideas?
2nd: I have this strange buzzing sound when I accelerate in any gear. It isn't loud and is more noticeable under light throttle. Once I let off the accelerator it stops. It almost sounds like an electrical buzzer and not metal but that might just be how it sounds. I think it is coming from the console/shifter area but again who knows. I just know it is annoying.
Any help would be great. Thanks

I did read some threads with about the PPS. Is it possible for this vibration to only occur in one gear?
Also, my other issue sounds very different than what I have read on here. I did read a thread about low rpms but mine will do it at 3k so I don't think it is the same thing. Could it be clutch/pressure plate related? The buzz is driving me nuts even though it is faint. BTW, the car is completely stock. No mods what so ever.
