Two Part Question

On September 22 I am attending our second annual Gala at my work. This event has some people attending who spent 10,000 for a table of 10 otherwise 500 dollars a ticket.

Anyways on to my question, this one is mainly aimed towards anyone that has been in downtown milwaukee, The parking area by summerfest grounds underneath the bridges is that a safe area. I ask this because they have vallet parking.

Has anyone ever had their FD parked by a vallet?

I understand the PFC has a rev limiter; however I didn't find if you can set it with the commander. If you can set it with that, would it be easy to set it at say 3000 rpm for once the vallet takes it and then turn it back when I leave for the night?

Thanks in advanced for the information guys. I don't really have time to read the manual for the Commander at this point as I am still trying to catch up on my reading for: Tax, Auditing, Cost Accounting, Investments, and Intermediate Finance.

Yes! I highly recommend setting it too. I'm not sure how much I would worry about the valet but if you ever get your car worked on for sure set it.

Just go into settings and I believe it is called rev/idle...

You should see rev limit or something like that its 8100rpms by default i believe, just drop it to three or four thousand, takes a minute though so you'd probably have to do it will driving up.

Whenever I have gone someplace with the intention of using the valet, I call a day or so before and ask if I can have the car stay at the valet drop off. I explain that the car is very customized and difficult for most people to drive. I offer to pay extra, if I feel it will make the deal. Every time they have been fine with the car staying out front. It draws attention for them too. Make sure you remember the name of who you spoke with and mention it when you get out of the car. I always give them my card with my cell # on it and tell them IF the car needs moved, just call me and I'll come out. I take the keys with me. I tip very well and make a point to think the decision maker for the the car being able to stay up front, on my way out.

But, that's here in Columbus, Ohio. Hope that gave you an idea.

Yes that helped quite a bit. I just think it would be a lot of fun to take the FD as people that are attending are rather high up exectuives from various international manufacturing, technology, and accounting firms. It seemed like a decent conversation starter none the least.

Thanks again folks!
