two males one female...a bad bad thing (PICS) HELP!

ok so I have this sensor threaded into the block (see pic Im pointing at the hole that the sensor is plugged into), and I cannot find the female end on the wiring harness to connect it to!

I do have the power sterring pump plugged in and it has the same end as this sensor...and they both reach into the female in question.... (see pic)

I have looked in the FSM... but I just wound up confused, as both female ends are supposed to be right there!!!!

HELP!!!

the female u have pictured is for the power steering. the other is your knock sensor and u should find that connector behind the alternator-ish. gl

+1 ^^ if i'm not mistaken (correct me if i'm wrong) the knock sensor female connector is clipped onto another set of wires (just like the female of the power steering pump) going in the direction of the knock sensor making it hard to locate. check the oil metering pump section of the harness and feel around them on the top drivers side front of the block

yeah plug that knock sensor into the plug you have right next to your ring finger. plug the power steering plug into the wiring harness behind the alternator
