two amazing rx-7s on ebay flawless

There are two low mileage original mint condition (brand new basically bubble wrapped) on ebay. Any body check them out yet?
Here are the links, let me know if these check out and any bumps would be nice too.

1995 blue only 185 original miles !!!!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...22935180QQrdZ1

1994 red r2 7000 original miles
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda...23316165QQrdZ1

Thanks

they have low mileage, but think about this, these engine cant sit for long, and for something 11 yrs old, only 200- miles? Something might just be bad inside that engine. Of course it sure is nice to have such nice beautiful Fds, but it might just cause lots of problem. but nonetheless, nice cars.

Holy sh*t.

Seriously.

Like...wow

That red...looks...amazing...

And the MB one...

where the hell has it been stored all this time? And like AzEKnightz said...just plain sitting for ~11 years can't be good.

o_O!!

Dump some water in the intake, and give it a compression test. At the very least, rebuilding that engine would be as easy as a rebuild could be.

The R2 is simply magnificent. I know someday I'll have the spare cash for a nicer FD, and I'll look for a car like this and - never find it.

That is just SO cool! And it makes me realize how BADLY my car needs repainted...lol! Getting that done is next on my list, for sure.

I still have my window sticker and was comparing prices. Looks like the auto tranny went from $850 on mine to $1000, I can't quite read what the door sill scuff plates added...it LOOKS like $260....but man! My total sticker was $33,770....and that '95 listed for $40,679!

the MB is amazing...like to see more pictures of the undercarriage...

Can't believed a loaded RX7 would cost $40K back then...no wonder I couldn't afford one...the Cobra was only $23K.

That MBM has been on Autotrader a few times...they were asking 50K for it!

tphan----The RX-7 was the cheapest of the high end Japanese turbo cars back in 95. I remember the 300ZXTT was around $42K, while the 3000GT VR4 and SupraTT were in the mid to high $40Ks.

I'd like to get some parts offa that blue one...

It's a gorgeous car, but think of all the reliability mods the buyer will have to do! I see a gorgeous car, but one that would still need a bit of work and several parts/components replaced.

lol....THAT is a base model! You'd have had to plunk down another $4K or so for a Touring model or an R2!

This alone was one of the reasons the 3rd gen "failed" in the U.S., they had priced themselves out of their "core" buyers.

I think they overpriced the car, knowing sales would be slim for a car like the FD...it's kind of a viscous circle

makes you wonder if it would have sold better now? vehicles like the Evo certainly are not lacking in slaes, but they aren't 40k, either

Yeah, it is hard to say. Marketing strategies were MUCH different in those days, before FORD took controlling interest. I think that MAZDA was pretty much in a turmoil back then...they seriously were damned near looking at bankruptcy! Time and cirmcumstances....time and cirmcumstances. If the FD had debuted 10 years later, it have been a different story I think.

They need to bring the 7 back. I hate the 8's bodylines... It does have some sweet accessories (rotor shaped stuff all over) but i think the rx-7 next to the 8 makes the 8 look like a little kids toy. Not cool at all. But thats just meee

My birthdays comming up.. Any1 wana get me one of those? i dont mind ill even let you chose =

dont be fooled by low mileage... i bought a 93 cym from oregon that had 15051 original miles on it when i drove it off of the guys driveway. the car prior to that day had only been start a couple times about a week before i got there. Prior to that, it hadnt been started in over two years save for once or twice in the guys garage to let it sit there and idle.

3 weeks later my engine blows... 15k original miles and we determined there was no swap on the odometer or anything like that... just goes to show low miles isnt always great... sure it looks nice, but, still.

If the r2 was black I'd pay 25k right now and be a very happy buyer
